Hey guys never made it before what do I need how much flower to make some strong ones and best way to decarb and best butter to use. Really want to make these tonight. I made some penis envy physcedelic Reese cups. Haven't tried one yet though
1lb of butter per 1 Oz of weed has worked well for me in the past. I usually put the ground up bud in some cheese cloth and throw it in a mason jar with the butter. Then I stick the mason jar in something that can boil water (a pot on the stove, crock pot, etc) and let it sit in boiling water for a while. The biggest thing is letting it sit long enough to fully decarb but because the water won’t go over 212 degrees, you can let it go for a long time without having to worry about it (unless you run out of water)

Is it okay to use abv hash or diamonds with it too? I know it comes out like a super dark and hard nugget after I vape it layered between weed and I don’t know how that would effect flavor. Maybe I should stash elsewhere to separate it out in case it’s nasty and spoils the butter? 🤢
Would there be any way to know or estimate THC% so I can figure out dosage and effects? I’m pretty sure I didn’t extract it 100% when I vaped it bc of flavor. Shit could get pretty strong when you add the concentrates to the mix! Hahaha hey!! Who wants some brownies?! Oh and by the way it might put you in a medically induced coma, hope you don’t mind! 😂

I use a half oz of buds per stick of butter and make small chocolate chip cookies that usually turn out pretty strong. I grind up the bud spread it out on parchment paper fold the parchment paper over to cover the bud, heat in the oven low temp for an hour to decarb. Then put that in a crock pot with water and butter low temp over night. After that strain out through several layers of cheese cloth rinsing and ringing out the cheese cloth when done. Best to use a larger container with a lid throw it in the fridge when the butter solidifies at the top make a hole in it to drain the water. I melt it down with hot water and solidify the butter a couple more times to remove the weedy taste. Thats it make cookies or whatever how you normally would.

Salvaged what bud I could used a ounce of the trim stems seed and about a gram worth of kief from the bottom of the bag havent tried it yet but will update later on potency and effects. If you dont pick out the stems and seeds the butter will be a little bitter

Consider using kief if available to cut back on the green taste.
For an edible quickie, make a Firecracker. Just mix some dry herb with a glob of peanut butter, spread on a cracker and nuke it until the PB is gooey.
