Sometimes I am "on the fence" about a strain... Usually indoor.. and I'm not totally sure whether to buy . . Sometimes i pass bc I only want premium flower.. but then that nagging thought comes up... "Maybe that IS premium flower that they just got cheaper!" Etc etc etc
Anyways, glad to know . Appreciate the insight as always
@rasta0458, on your next order try an eighth of premium bud, an eighth of outdoor stuff and an eighth of indoor greenhouse. The premium bud does cost a bit more, but its alot better in quality. Some of my very first orders were the cheaper ounces that cost around 180. The bud was ok, then I ordered premium stuff and stuck to premium ever since. They seem more dense, have more smell, kick lot better too after a few good tokes. Dunno if you've heard the ol saying " buy cheap, have cheap. Buy high, you get high"
This time I ended up getting two zips of indoor, only because the strain was blueberry muffins. After reading all the nice comments I couldn't resist but to try them out.
@907ak420 Sometimes it's just pure luck based on the strain. The outdoor Sunset Sherbert I ordered from here last year beat out some of the premiums I had in terms of high.
The greenhouse Blueberry Cheesecake i got from medmama was fire! And probably my favorite was an indoor strain called Dutch Treat from @LoudnCo
That strain (from that specific grower) was amazing & I'd buy that over any premium.
I have em in airtight canning jars. Mason jars I guess. Factoring in that I smoke Alot! Last falls buds are only a good memory. By the way I got my jaeger and magic melon. At first glance they look like the high wont be there, after a few nice hits. Man now I can relax. Thanks loud&co. Medmama, mb and mm.
I have 5 lg cvaults that hold 4 to 5 oz's that I rotate . Actually 1 small cvault holds my concentrates that makes it into the vape rotation weekly lately. If I find a killer bud I will do my best to torture him for months lol. I really like having a large selection of smalls that I hoard like a troll until there's nothing but crumbs. I really have to medicate with several strains daily when the days get tough.
@907ak420 I still have some buds from January/February last year (the finest Grape Ape I’ve ever had...kept for emergencies) and I can’t tell a difference from new. Sealed jars with fresh Boveda 62s kept in a dark place. Some strains I save and savor for months, others I just blow through! I like and enjoy a lot of variety with my medicine and I try to always keep my medicine cabinet well stocked!
hells yeah! i was grateful for them. it's amazing what it'll do with dry bud. i watch this youtuber "potporn" , he's just a kid, but he's got good content and he's passionate about bud... lol.. but he always talks about how dry the bud is where he's at (PA i believe) and i always think to myself.. man, i wonder if he has heard of boveda. left a couple comments on his strain reviews
Whenever my buds get a little dry in the jars, I usually put them in a ziplock with a small handful of frozen tundra berries we gather during the summer season. After a good ten, fifteen minutes the bud becomes nice and sticky and the aroma seems stronger.
@TheProfessor I remember that Grape Ape. One of the strongest strains I've ever had. And what flavor. Would love to see that one make a comeback. That was Premium Grape Ape; Loud carried it several times but one of the phenotypes was at a different level. All of them were at another level, but one was at a higher level than the highest level. If that makes any sense. Well, I suspect it makes sense to you @TheProfessor. That one--and Fifth Element--are the only two strains I can recall putting my girlfriend to sleep.
Yes! @georgetirebiter That’s it! There were several really nice batches of Grape Ape in ‘19 and early last year. They were all wonderful, but that one...still amazing! I have but a couple grams hoarded for when really needed. Oh, I would be all over some premium Grape Ape!...and what a killer that 5th Element turned out to be! @LoudnCo can we have some more, please?
Why do alot of folks post about strains I've never seen or heard of from loud&co. Or medmama. Is the selection from website different for the location?
@907ak420 these are all flower strains that have come and gone over the past couple of years. Sometimes popular strains sell out within hours so they’re not on the menu for long.
no. but sometimes the menu moves quick... if you don't check it every day, you likely miss stuff. add to that, right now in SOME places, USPS is taking like 2 wks to a month to deliver.. so i'm seeing ppl post about strains that haven't been on the menu for weeks already .
something like that. i check it super frequently , multiple times a day (usually).. and even i notice that sometimes i miss something

Great question?
I heard it's the price they pay and not necessarily the quality.
I can't speak for anyone else but I base it off of quality and not price. I figure the money evens out in the end.
Loud is much more consistent with their grading than MedMama, in my opinion.
Thanks for clarifying @LoudnCo .. good to know.

Couple of the best premium strains I've come across are Fruit loops and Miracle whip. Both give you a long lasting high😵
@907ak420 Oh yeah, I loved Miracle Whip! For me, it was a long numbing high.
I'm vaping the next to the last bud of loops from last fall right now. 🍀💨
From last fall? My buds from last fall finished last fall 😁😄
@907ak420 have you invested in some boveda 62% humidity packs? if not, get some!
properly stored in glass jars, (airtight), with a boveda... i have buds at least 3-6 months old that are almost the same as the day i got em.
@907ak420 vacuum sealed w/b in a c/v in the fridge

Thanks for the info stoned bros, I will find me some Bovedas.

Definately looking into the Bovedas

@georgetirebiter @TheProfessor . That Grape ape was Indoor from Loud. The 5th Element was @medmama indoor bud.

Thanks @MizterNiceGuy that sounds about right.

Thanks guys, I was wondering, where are they getting all these strains Ive never seen on the site.
Just ordered me some Premium fruit loops, I got one zip this past fall. This time I ordered two to last through the cold spells.
Loud dropped some new flower! Couldn't pass on the premium GG #4. Looks amazing.
