Primo Mystery Herb from MedMama

Surprise! Today's package contained not shrooms and Salami, but shrooms and...Mystery Premium. Is it a worthy replacement?

Out of the bag: It looks like the website menu photo. Feels a bit dry.

Into the bowl: Not too pungent, frankly. I expected more. What I do get is pine, primarily, then citrus. Not complex at all. But neither am I, I suppose.

Effects: So far so good. Pleasant sativa kick, as advertised.

In conclusion, it's an adequate sub for the lower-priced item I ordered. In no way would I accept this as "primo" cannabis, though.

One final note: I thought that maybe all the mystery strains might be related...with the different designations (outdoor, greenhouse, premium) representing different levels of quality. I can tell you that this is not the same bud as my mystery outdoor. Unlike that one, this does have some life to it.

Try out one of our new sativa-dominant _hybrid mystery strains that is fantabulous! These dense nugs have a nice shade of bright green covered with crystallized trichomes _that give an energetic/heady/up beat high. When you break apart this sticky dense nugs it'll unleash an amazing earthy citrus aroma. Definitely worth experiencing!

This is not my experience. I'm getting a deep indica vibe. Small initial sativa spark followed by...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • I applaud their effort to "shake it up" for us by having novelty strains and the like (even if they might only be doing it to pad out the inventory). But, honestly, if I wanted a "Mystery Strain", I'll just go back to my local dealer LOL!!
Getting to choose what I like from experts is the entire reason I found this place. I'll happily let others guinea pig this one for me ; )

  • @georgetirebiter it's never been clear to me. Is it Mystery Kush? That's an indica leaning hybrid. Or is the strain a "mystery?" I tended to assume the later which is why I never pursued it, but I have somewhat of an issue with charging a premium price for an unknown strain. I mean, really?

Not to hijack this thread, but speaking of "mystery strains"....

The very first and only "exotic" weed I've gotten from a local dealer (who just happened to run into something special) was the summer of 2019, and he had no name for it, and could never find it again. It looked like this:

Do either of you recognize this? He said he thought it was "Purple Urkle", but I can't tell. It was smooth as hell, I'll say that much. Heavy indica chill that came with it. Just curious if you see anything you recognize.

  • @OzBaxter it sure could be Purple Urkle. Nice looking bud! I’ve seen Purple Urkle that looks very similar (but so do dozens of other strains 😂). Your description is right there as well. It’s been awhile since it’s been on the menu here, but it was pretty potent and quite heavy. The first ounce a couple of years ago was incredibly sleepy. The second ounce was great, but didn’t hit quite as hard.
