That's funny. I knew from the start that I'd continue buying on the black market because the idiots in charge were going to over tax and overregulate everything to death. They did that before they even started.
I'm sure this is on purpose so that we're left with only giant corporations like Philip Morris controlling 99% of the market. I'm sure they'll start adding chemicals to make cannabis more addictive.
They should treat it like produce and be allowed to sell it at farmers' markets or something similar.
If they legalize on the fed level and normalize it they should be able to bring costs down considerably. If you can capture a significant enough majority of the illegal market they can make it so cheap, they can make up for lower margins by increasing volume exponentially.
I'd love to be able to buy green fresh bud and manicure, dry, and cure it at home.
Buy the whole cut plants or manicured colas, or dried cured bud.
Have testing for moisture content, thc, mold, pesticides, all available there on-site over the counter.
Effective Monday, Ohio’s medical program does away with the tier system for flower and makes the Ohio 1/10th of any strain worth one day/point. Essentially, up to now, I could get about 5 ounces of high % THC flower every 90 days. Starting Monday it’s 9 ounces of any flower every 90 days! Now if they can just get the prices down. They even added a couple of qualifying conditions.
Today we lost a animals best friend and animal rights activists. We will all miss Betty White in my home but none more than my granddaughter who had the opportunity to meet and work with her on a couple of occasions. GOOD BY BETTY...GOD TRULY HAS ANOTHER ANGEL TONIGHT.❤❤❤❤✝️
@Sixwaychili@MikeyC these.are the kids who enjoyed their own farts in school. The differences are as easy to explain as a child's book to a 3 year old. But hell what do I know...I don't have to see them to know there's a asshole in the room. Good luck and good puffs and a happy new year to you both my friends. 💚💨🍀
Non-native American/Indian American Sanjay Gupta:
I apologize because I didn't look hard enough, until now. I didn't look far enough. I didn't review papers from smaller labs in other countries doing some remarkable research, and I was too dismissive of the loud chorus of legitimate patients whose symptoms improved on cannabis. Instead, I lumped them with the high-visibility malingerers, just looking to get high. I mistakenly believed the Drug Enforcement Agency listed marijuana as a schedule 1 substance because of sound scientific proof.
What an ass. He still thinks people who wanna get high are bad as opposed to free. He's barely a step above Dr. Phil.
"In October 2021, Dr. Gupta went on Joe Rogan's podcast and explained how much of the U.S. data on marijuana was skewed to show the harmful effects and not any benefits. He told Rogan, "If you're just looking at papers—well, this one [says there's] potential long harm, this one possible addiction, this one gateway—you know, you're seeing all those individual studies, but at a broader level, one step upstream, you realize that most of the studies that are getting funded are designed to look for harm. When I saw that, that was the first time I thought, 'well, why are the studies that are getting out there, why are they all designed to look for harm?" he said. "Then I started looking at other countries, and some really good research out of places like Israel in particular."
“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.” (Dr. Marcia Angell, NY Review of Books, January 15, 2009, “Drug Companies & Doctors: A Story of Corruption”)

North Carolina is considering a bill to legalize medicinal cannabis if you are in hospice care. What a joke.

@MNTDWLER why would anyone care about breaking the law if they're about to die? lol
I'll just continue to ignore laws without victims because they are invalid. Happy New Year!
I'm travelling through states that allow bestiality right now.

Two quotes, one from that article above.
It's far worse than that Dr. Gupta.
