@TheProfessor I hope you get a chance to get out and look around this weekend. Some of my best finds have been old broken window and door frames. Cut 'em sand 'em It was nice to live in a age before pressure treated woods. If you don't get shot, a sawz all and a condemned house can yield treasures lol.

What do you all think of the crc? AFAIK crc should be cheaper than the other concentrates, since after all its cleaned up bunk concentrare usual full of pesticides before they clean it up.

I still can't sleep because of the hours I worked for years. But when you retire it's called napping, when you work it's grounds for termination lol. @MNTDWLER I have a “few” more years, my friend, but I am taking steps to “lighten the load” until it’s time...giving up those extra “duties.” I don’t think the transition to the retired life will be too difficult though...I do as much “practicing” as I can in my off time,lol.😉.
I can’t wait to tell the wife: “Honey, get your stuff together, we’re going out to find some good wood.” 🤣😂😁😉. I keep threatening to write a review of the “Royal Highness” lube that medmama has. Yep...she wanted to me to buy some....success!🤪😁
@TheProfessor lol it sounds like a win win on all fronts my dear professor. Easing into retirement sounds interesting? I was forced into it rather abruptly myself. But every day brings new Joy's and better yet new strains. I think all my wife would hear is "good wood, " then I'd hear her car tearing down the driveway .probably never to be seen again lol.😉🤣
@MNTDWLER my search yesterday took me as far as the garage...🤣! I did, however, find a 1x2 scrap of white maple that with a little cutting, drilling, staining, finishing, etc, will make a matching (yet removable) "cart organizing" insert for my chest. More leisure time is something I'm working on, but is kinda hard to come by during these times.
@TheProfessor the best finds are the ones that you already have lol. I made a little double banger bowl holder just forl s***'s and giggles. Just like you said a little cutting a little drilling sanding and staining. It's fun to see what turns out.

@TheProfessor just a few hours of tinkering used my 8 adapters. I think after everything I'd go with the 19mm male to 14mm female adapters through Amazon. I got a odd piece through another supplier,it really didn't matter because I made three different ones but if you're looking for consistency go with what you know.
